The Heartland Institute's Third Annual Emerging Issues Forum is a daylong opportunity for donors, members, elected officials, policy analysts, and government affairs staffs to confer about the top public policy issues of the day.
Prominent policy analysts from think tanks across the country will be featured in four panel discussions addressing information technology and telecommunications, budget and taxes, environment policy, and health care reform.
The four panel discussions are free and open to the public and will include ACSH president Dr. Elizabeth Whelan on the topic of "Real Problems, Poor Solutions" in public health, in the areas of obesity, smoking, and pharmaceuticals. An optional buffet luncheon will be served.
