Reaction to Stier on Obama

In addition to a couple angry e-mails, ACSH's Jeff Stier has seen his recent HuffingtonPost.com piece about Obama's health (as a long-time smoker) mocked on Wonkette, with a flurry of often-angry comments from readers not so unlike the ones posted on HuffingtonPost itself (nonetheless: don't smoke).

This follows closely on the heels of Stier being mocked on Gawker, then remocked on Gawker, for his criticism of Whole Foods and for ACSH's purported role as an industry mouthpiece.

I often hear Senator Obama referred to as "smart." Which leads to the question, just how smart is someone who continues to smoke well into his 40's dispite the fact that both of his parents died of cancer?
Perhaps the most charitable response is that, "we are all ignorant about different things."
