Borat's Relative Sees Autism Explanation in Sufferer's Relatives

By Jeff Stier, Esq.

Given the fervor with which some people promote the alleged link between vaccines and autism, I've come to believe it is, to them, a matter of faith more than science. So perhaps science and logic aren't the best tools to use to dissuade them of their belief.

But for those still open to rational arguments, one interesting theory is emerging that might address an actual cause for an increase in autism diagnoses.  And for what it's worth, the theory comes from Borat's cousin.  Well, from Borat actor Sacha Baron-Cohen's cousin, at least.

According to Simon Baron-Cohen, the director of the Autism Research Centre at Cambridge University, the increased cases of autism (if there is an actual increase, rather than just an increase in awareness and diagnoses) might be attributable to assortative mating.  Essentially, he postulates that since genetics plays an important role in autism (something that the vaccine-autism crowd must deny), something may be changing in the mating choices people make, increasing the likelihood of people with autism-linked genes mating and passing on their genes.  Those changes, as he explains in Seed magazine, may help explain, for instance, why there may be an "autism cluster" in Silicon Valley.

It's only a theory, but one worth reading.

Given the vehemence with which some scientist/researchers promote the alleged no link between vaccines and Autism, I’ve come to believe it is, to them, a matter of money more than scientific fact. So perhaps the best tools to use to dissuade them of their greed is to show accountability for illogically useless findings that safeguard the criminals behind the destruction of a generation of innocent children.

As if we would ever trust the foxes to guard the hen houses. If the science were logical and funding clear of scoundrels perhaps we rational citizens would be inclined to acknowledge the findings. However, due to the populous ability to decipher the “scientific findings” I would say the proof is in the pudding and on no account is there a way to obscure reality. This is no longer the age where doctors, scientist and researchers are revered as miracle workers or even God like. The fact of the matter is that the populous have become rather bored with the push of prescriptions, vaccines and therapies. Quite fed up with adverse reactions, recalls  and cover-ups. How about Unproven claims that a natural approach is harmful. We are exasperated by illogical studies and reports that are funded by debauchery .

Parents were behind Lorenzo’s Oil. Parents are now behind Chelation Therapy. What cures have the medical establishment found since Polio? None…Why I wonder? The populous are not deaf, dumb or blind. The populous no longer wait around for the scientific world to help…..we help ourselves. We find the facts and we help our loved ones regardless of what anyone behind the scam feels heavy pocketed enough to claim. Knowledge is power...What a shame so many squander it to the highest bidder!

Jeff Stier's reference to the parents of children with autism as Borat's cousins is as ofensive as it is absurd.
