Oh those crazy oxytocin researchers! German researchers have been doping men with the so-called cuddle hormone not to be confused with oxycodone, the addictive painkiller and introducing them to an attractive woman who moves closer and closer to them.
The men in monogamous heterosexual relationships doped with the oxytocin nasal spray kept their distance from the hot young lady, while the single lads let her get 10 to 15 centimeters closer. René Hurlemann, M.D., Ph.D., of the University of Bonn, and colleagues reported the results of their experiment on 57 young men in the pages of The Journal of Neuroscience.
