Watermelon is 92% water; naturally it’s hydrating, and full of nutrients. But one thing it’s not: sunscreen. Influencers online love to spew misinformation, especially when it comes to ‘chemicals.’ But substituting watermelon juice for SPF is never a good idea, no matter how science-y they make it sound.
