He is just flinging about terms that pop into his brain in an attempt to keep his audience entertained. This is what we re up against when we try to explain sound science, because Dr. Oz is like a rock star and whatever he says is believed -- even when he s selling snake oil.
I know many women who worship Dr. Oz, says Dr. Whelan. They think he s just the best. It seems the more famous he gets the more ridiculous things he s willing to say.
