Charles R. Santerre Ph.D

Charles R. Santerre, Ph.D., is the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences Director for Ag Policy Development and Professor at Clemson University, where he previously served as the Department Chair of Food, Nutrition, and Packaging Sciences. He previously served as a Senior Policy Advisor for agriculture and health in the White House. He was appointed to the FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition’s Food Advisory Committee and selected as an American Association for the Advancement of Science - Science & Technology Policy Fellow
