No e-cig ban in Canton, MA: A win for public health (and for ACSH)

By ACSH Staff — Aug 13, 2013
After hearing from ACSH, among others, Canton MA did not ban e-cigarettes.

The Canton MA Board of Health, acting in a responsible manner after hearing from devotees of public health from all around the nation, decided not to ban electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) while raising the age to purchase tobacco products from 18 to 21. As many of you know, ACSH was among those organizations and individuals who made their opinions known, and we received a gracious acknowledgment of our message from John Ciccotelli, Canton's Public Health Director. Good job, Canton!
